An NYPD detective promised a Bronx mom her son would be protected from arrest if she slept with the cop, a new lawsuit alleges. After a teenager suffered a gunshot in front of Elizabeth Rosado’s Claremont Village home in August 2014, NYPD Detective David Terrell started on “unwanted and progressively aggressive approaches of a sexual nature,” the mom’s Manhattan Federal Court suit says.
Terrell — who had repeatedly arrested Rosado’s son, Angelo Cotto, 18 — said he would be protected from cops if she gave in to his advances. Rosado did not, the suit says.
The pressure later intensified. The suit says Terrell called Rosado in August 2015 and told her to come to the precinct stationhouse.
